Dear international students, faculty and staff members,

In order to prevent the spread of pneumonia epidemic caused by 2019 N-CoV for sake of your safety and health, in accordance with the request by the Working Group of the Central Government, the Ministry of Education, and the Chonqing Municipal Education Commission, SWUPL has decided to postpone the start date of the Spring Semester in 2020. The exact date for the start of the new semester will be further informed.

All the registered students, faculty and staff members are strictly required not to come back to school in advance (before February 21st), and the newly admitted students shall not come before March 2nd.Take necessary and active measures for self-protection and the epidemic prevention as requested by the local authorities of your residence. Those who stay on campus now are required to reduce your out-going visits, take self-protection measures and cooperate in the report of your health conditions. Those who visited or passed by Wuhan in the last two weeks should not return to school for the time being until further notice.

It is our top priority at present to fight against the pneumonia epidemic caused  by the new coronavirus. Let’s work together to take scientific actions!
