Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, located in Yubei District, Chongqing, is 21 kilometers away from the city. Chongqing Airport connects the air traffic of Japan, Thailand and 27 large and medium-sized cities in China.

Railway

Chongqing railway station is the passenger transport center of Chongqing railway. There are five main railway lines crossing here.

 

Metro

There are 10 operation lines of Chongqing rail transit, including line 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, ring line, Guobo line and airport line. The line network covers the whole area of Chongqing's main urban area, with 190 stations and 21 transfer stations. The total operation mileage is 329 kilometers, ranking the sixth in China and the first in the West [2]. Among them, line 1, 4, 5, 6, 10, ring line and Guobo line are metro systems, about 230 kilometers; line 2, 3 and airport line are monorail systems (straddle monorail), 98.45 kilometers in total.

Buses and taxis are also the main means of transportation in Chongqing.
